KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is set to convene at 11 AM today. The agenda includes departmental ministers responding to questions raised during discussions on the Appropriation Bill.

Today’s session will focus on discussions regarding various headings under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the National Planning Commission, the Office of the Vice President, and the Office of the President.

Ministers responsible for these departments will address the questions raised, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

Additionally, the Speaker is expected to present proposals for expenditure cuts submitted by House members under various headings of ministries within the Appropriation Bill, 2081, for decision-making.

Finance Minister Barshaman Pun will propose the passage of the “Appropriation Bill, 2081.” He will also present proposals to consider the “Finance Bill, 2081,” the “National Debt Raising Bill, 2081,” and the “Customs Revenue Bill, 2081,” as per information provided by the Parliament Secretariat.
