KATHMANDU: Hyundai’s official distributor in Nepal, Laxmi Intercontinental, has commenced the sales and distribution of the Hyundai Venue, which is locally manufactured in Nepal by Laxmi Motor Corporation, a sister concern of Laxmi Intercontinental.

Under the theme “HYUNDAI NEPAL: MADE FOR YOUR JOURNEY,” the company has introduced customer-centric plans.

In this scheme, purchasing a Hyundai Venue comes with a 6.99% financing facility, complimentary servicing for 10 years, and a 3-year warranty.

Laxmi Motor Corporation, in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company, has invested in technical cooperation, marking the establishment of Hyundai’s production model for the first time in Nepal.

The company claims that the quality, performance, and specifications of the locally produced models match those manufactured by Hyundai Motor Company in Korea or India.

By initiating local production, Hyundai aims to contribute to the country’s industrialization, import substitution, job creation, revenue growth, technology, and skill development, establishment of supportive industries, energy consumption reduction, and overall domestic production enhancement.

The company’s objective is to provide consumers with convenient transportation options at competitive prices.

As sales and distribution kick off, the made-in-Nepal Hyundai Venue 1.2 (S) is priced at NPR 44,96,000, while the Venue 1.2 (SX) is priced at NPR 53,56,000.
