Teen held for raping a minor

KATHMANDU: Police arrested Rohit Rajbanshi, a 19-year-old inhabitant of Mechinagar Municipality-15 Jamirgarhi, Jhapa, on charges of raping a 15-year-old girl.

Authorities from the area police office in Dhulabari detained Rajbanshi after receiving a report that he raped the girl on Sunday in the same Municipality-9 Magurmadi Community Forest.

The police are doing the required investigations on this matter.
