Elderly man dies in bike hit

KATHMANDU: A 72-year-old Bimal Kumar Sapkota, resident of Mahottari Gaushala Municipality-1 Ramnagar, died on Tuesday afternoon after being hit by a motorcycle (State 1-02-045 Pa 2 )on the road near Mahendra Petol Pump, Sunsari, Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-5.

He was seriously injured in the accident and died at Neuro Hospital Biratnagar during further treatment.

The motorcyclist has been detained by the police.

The police are conducting necessary investigations regarding the accident.
