Two dies after falling into well in Surkhet

KATHMANDU: A 32-year-old Bidya Prasad Regmi and 31-year-old Laxmi Kandel, Pipira, Birendranagar Municipality-11, Surkhet, died on Monday afternoon after falling into the well in Toran BK’s house in the same municipality.

As soon as the information was received that they had fallen while cleaning, the police stationed from the District Police Office Surkhet rescued them and sent them to Karnali State Hospital Kalagaun for treatment, and they died during treatment.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
