Prithvi Highway fully reopens following landslide clearance

Following the removal of the obstruction, the highway has been reopened since Monday morning.

KATHMANDU: Prithvi Highway, which had been obstructed due to landslides, has resumed operation.

The obstruction had occurred between Muglin and Malekhu section under Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-3 of Chitwan, particularly around the areas of Phisling and Maukhel.

Following the removal of the obstruction, the highway has been reopened since Monday morning.

The Chief Police Inspector of the Area Police Office in Muglin, Nirala Bhandari, informed that the highway has resumed operation in both directions after the removal of the landslide debris.

With the highway back in operation, vehicles stranded due to the blockade have started moving towards their respective destinations.
