MMC students hang Chair of management faculty director on tree

KATHMANDU: Students at Mahendra Morang Adarsh Multiple Campus in Morang, Biratnagar, have hung the chair of Dr. Mohan Subedi, the director of the management faculty, on a tree.

Dr. Suvbdi also serves as the economic advisor to the Koshi State Chief Minister, Hikmat Karki.
Campus Chief Dr. Ramvatar Sharan condemned the incident, stating that breaking into the office and hanging the chair along with the nameplate on a tree was against academic decorum.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when students forcefully entered Suvedi’s office.
This event follows another protest on Sunday when students set fire to the vehicle of the Vice Chair of the State Planning Commission.
