KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that discussions with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, focused on the implementation of past agreements and understandings.

Speaking to the media at Tribhuvan International Airport upon his return from his visit to India on Monday, he mentioned this.

He highlighted in-depth conversations on reactivating all bilateral mechanisms, implementing the Pancheshwar Multipurpose Project, collaborating on the Arun Hydropower Project, and cooperating in the agricultural sector.

Prime Minister Dahal extended an invitation to Indian Prime Minister Modi to visit Nepal, and Modi expressed his intention to visit at a convenient time.

During his meeting with Dr. S. Jaishankar, they had positive discussions on expanding trade between Nepal and India and increasing Indian investment in Nepal’s priority sectors.

Prime Minister Dahal noted that the visit played a significant role in enhancing mutual goodwill between Nepal and India.
