President Paudel appoints two non-resident ambassadors

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed two non-resident ambassadors for different countries.
According to Article 282, Clause 1 of the Constitution of Nepal, President Paudel has appointed Ram Prasad Subedi, the Nepali Ambassador to Switzerland, as the non-resident ambassador to San Marino.
Similarly, Lok Bahadur Thapa, the Permanent Representative to the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations in New York, has been appointed as the non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Nicaragua, as stated in the press release issued by the President’s Office.
