KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ who is on an official visit to India, held talks with his Indian counterpart, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During their meeting on Sunday evening, Prime Minister Prachanda congratulated Prime Minister Modi on assuming office for a third consecutive term.

Prime Minister Prachanda expressed confidence that the relationship between Nepal and India would reach new heights during Modi’s third term.

The discussions between the two leaders covered various aspects of the bilateral relations and mutual interests between Nepal and India.

They also reviewed the implementation of past agreements and understandings between the two countries.

Prime Minister Prachanda attended Prime Minister Modi’s swearing-in ceremony on Sunday evening.

Accompanying Prime Minister Prachanda were his daughter Ganga Dahal, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, and other high-ranking government officials.

Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to return to Nepal this evening.
