GIBL launches ‘Digital Universe’

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) has introduced various automated digital banking services through its newly launched “Digital Universe” lounge.
The inauguration of the Digital Universes was conducted by the Chair of GIBL, Chandraprasad Dhakal, at the bank’s central office in Kamaladi, Kathmandu on Sunday.
The Digital Universe feature modern machines such as cheque deposit, cash deposit, and ATM machines. This marks the pioneering initiative of GIBL in Nepal.
Prakash Paudel, Chief of Transaction Banking at GIBL, expressed that the launch of Digital Universe marks a new beginning in the banking industry of Nepal.
He mentioned the bank’s aim to develop Digital Universs as a platform for digital banking in Nepal.
All digital transactions of the bank have been initiated in the form of Digital Universe, as stated by Paudel.
The utilization of ATMs, cash deposits, and cheque deposit machines has been implemented within the Digital Universe.
The operation of Digital Universe by the bank is expected to enhance digital banking, encourage the general public to engage in digital transactions, and provide customers with simple and convenient banking services.
