Hearing against Koshi State government postponed again

KATHMANDU: The hearing on the case against the Koshi Province government has been postponed again today.
The hearing of the writ against the Koshi state government was scheduled on Sunday in the full bench.
However, Justice Sunil Kumar Pokharel has declined to participate in the hearing, citing his previous decision in the Koshi dispute.
The previous bench had ordered to send the matter to a full bench.
On May 8, State Chief Parshuram Khapung had challenged the formation of a new government, after which he went to the Supreme Court.
He had ordered to file a complete file of the decision to appoint Hikmat Karki as the Chief Minister under Article 168, Sub-section 5 of the Constitution on May 22.
