HoR meeting today, such is the agenda

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives will meet today at 11 am at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor for a ministry-wise discussion on budget allocations.

The agenda includes debates on the Appropriation Bill, 2081, focusing on the budgets for the Ministries of Forests and Environment; Youth and Sports; Education, Science and Technology; and Labor, Employment, and Social Security.

Key proposals include MP Prem Suwal’s motion to reduce expenditures for these ministries.

MP Amaresh Kumar Singh will propose cutting their budgets to one rupee.

Additionally, MPs Pushpa Bahadur Shah, Badri Pandey, and Ram Koirala Paudell will also present proposals to slash spending.
