KATHMANDU: Due to the escalating heat in Phoenix, nearly a dozen individuals waiting for former President Donald Trump’s rally were hospitalized.
The Phoenix Fire Department reported that 11 attendees of the event at Dream City Church in North Phoenix were taken to the hospital, as stated by The Hill.
According to the Phoenix National Weather Service, Thursday marked the first time this year that temperatures reached 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Videos and photos broadcast online showed numerous people fainting and in need of medical assistance due to the extreme heat.
