Man held for murdering women in Kavre

KATHMANDU: Mandhwaj Tamang, 55, a resident of Kavre, Temal Rural Municipality-2 Kafalbot, was detained on charges of murdering 58-year-old Saili Tamang, also a resident of the same location, by striking her with an iron rod.

As soon as it was discovered that Mandhwaj was inebriated and had beaten Saili with an iron rod, police officers stationed at Pachwarghat and Kattikedeurali detained him.

The police are doing the required investigations on this matter.
