3 held for fatal beating of 18-year-old boy in Dharan

KATHMANDU: Three individuals, including 20-year-old Sujan alias Gopal Lamgade, have been arrested for the alleged fatal beating of 18-year-old Tangchuhang Limbu in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-19, Victoria Chowk.

The arrests were made on Wednesday evening by the police from the Area Police Office in Dharan.

The incident occurred on Sunday night when Tangchuhang Limbu was severely beaten by Gopal Lamgade and two others at Victoria Chowk.

Despite being rushed to BPKIHS Hospital and subsequently to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar for further treatment, Tangchuhang succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.

The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the case.
