18-year-old driver dies in tractor accident
The accident occurred on Wednesday morning in Serigaun, Musikot Municipality-5, involving tractor number Ra 1 Ta 3717.
KATHMANDU: A tractor accident in Rukum West has resulted in the death of the severely injured driver.
Sagar Pariyar, an 18-year-old resident of Musikot Municipality-2, passed away on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred on Wednesday morning in Serigaun, Musikot Municipality-5, involving tractor number Ra 1 Ta 3717.
According to District Police Office Information Officer, Police Inspector Bakht Bahadur Shahi, Pariyar succumbed to his injuries while being transported to Nepalgunj for further treatment, passing away upon reaching Chaurjahari.
He had sustained severe chest injuries.
In the same accident, Hari Chandra KC, a 40-year-old resident of Musikot Municipality-5, was also injured and has been referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment.
Both injured individuals received primary treatment at the District Hospital in Salle before being referred.
The tractor had fallen three meters down from the Mid-Hill Highway near the electricity office in Serigaun.
