Man held for raping 8-year-old child

KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday afternoon arrested 44-year-old Dinnath of India, Uttar Pradesh Balrampur and living in a grill industry in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan-17 Gairigaun on the charge of raping an 8-year-old girl.

Based on a complaint that Dinanath raped the girl in the same grill industry on the pretext of showing her mobile phone on Monday evening, the police stationed from District Police Office Dang arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
