KATHMANDU: In a recent job fair held in Pokhara, employers have committed to providing immediate employment to 350 individuals.
The organizers reported that companies with stalls at the fair provided written details about available positions and assured immediate job placements for qualified candidates.

According to the companies involved, this process will lead to employment for many applicants. Sharda Bhandari, the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and the coordinator of the Gandaki State job fair, stated that there are plans for a collaborative job fair involving all three levels of government next year.
The Gandaki State fair featured panel discussions on six topics and counseling sessions on eight themes.
The fair attracted over 5,000 visitors and included 42 stalls from various organizations such as the Migrant Resource Center, Department of Foreign Employment, Board, CG Group, Social Security Fund, NMB Bank, Pokhara Metropolitan City, Hongshi Cement, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Hotel Sarobar, and Confederation of Nepalese Industries.
