Nepalese tourism promotion program in Beijing, China
On this occasion, Nepal's Ambassador to China, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, provided information about Nepal's major tourist destinations and urged Chinese tourism entrepreneurs to inspire the Chinese community to visit Nepal.
KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Beijing, in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board and the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN), organized a tourism promotion event in Beijing.
On this occasion, Nepal’s Ambassador to China, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, provided information about Nepal’s major tourist destinations and urged Chinese tourism entrepreneurs to inspire the Chinese community to visit Nepal.
He emphasized that tourism is a key driver of Nepal’s economic development and that collaboration with Chinese entrepreneurs would be beneficial for the sector’s growth.
According to the Nepali Embassy in Beijing, HAN Chair Binayak Shah discussed Nepal’s tourism industry and the facilities available. Nepal Tourism Board Director Santosh Pant gave a presentation titled “Destination Nepal,” focusing on Nepal’s tourism potential and highlighting the need for ongoing contact between Nepali and Chinese tourism professionals.
During the event, 15 Chinese mountaineers who had climbed Mount Everest from the Nepali side were honored.
The event was attended by over 200 Nepali and Chinese tourism entrepreneurs, media representatives, and representatives from the China Association of Travel Services.
