Film director Sudarshan Thapa arrested

KATHMANDU: Film director Sudarshan Thapa was arrested on Monday afternoon by Maligaon police.

The arrest is linked to a controversy surrounding the movie “Prasad 2,” as stated by the police.

Director Thapa has now been taken to the police circle for further action.

According to the police, he was arrested from the premises of Royal Empire Hotel in Baluwatar.

There, the second phase of the film ‘Ravayan’ directed by him was about to begin.
