Gas leak in single home leads to death of five

KATHMANDU: Five members of the same family in Bangalore, India, lost their lives due to a gas leakage incident.

The family belonged to Madan Bohara, residing in Jaiprithvi Municipality Ward No. 11 of Bajhang, who had been employed in Bangalore for the past six years.

The incident occurred while they were asleep at home after dinner, resulting in their injury.

Despite being rushed to Victoria Hospital for medical assistance, they were pronounced dead by the doctors.

The deceased include Madan Boahra, his wife Premjala Dhami Bohara, their daughters Anita Bohara and Nita Bohara, as well as their son Prashant Bohara.
