Shree Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi turned back from runway

KATHMANDU: A Shree Airlines flight scheduled to fly from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi was turned back from the runway.

The flight, which was supposed to take off at 8:25 AM, was returned for technical inspection after a fuel smell was detected inside the aircraft, according to airport sources.

The aircraft, with flight number SHA 221, was returned from near the runway.

Following the incident, preparations are underway to send another aircraft for the Dhangadhi flight, as per the airport security sources.
