Pathao expands ‘Pathao Parcel’ service nationwide, enabling delivery to over 300 locations
After several months of testing, this service is now available to send items to over 300 locations across the country.

According to the company, merchants within the Kathmandu Valley can have parcels picked up free of charge if they provide 20 or more parcels of 1 kg each for a single pickup after 3 PM. Each parcel delivery will cost Rs 79.
“The company has already begun establishing offices in various locations across the country,” said company spokesperson Shashank Shamsher Thapa. “In the past five months, Pathao Parcel has provided delivery services to over 500 businesses and merchants.” He added that Pathao successfully completed more than 50,000 deliveries per month during the trial period.
Merchants affiliated with ‘Pathao Parcel’ will receive ‘dashboard’ training from the company, allowing them to monitor the status of their shipments via the dashboard.
Deliveries within the Kathmandu Valley will be made within 24 hours, while deliveries to major cities outside the valley will take place on the second day.
Deliveries to other locations will be completed within three days. Cash collected on delivery will be deposited into the merchant’s account within 48 hours.
With hubs in all major cities of Nepal, ‘Pathao Parcel’ is poised to become the largest delivery network in the country, according to the company.
In addition to parcel delivery, Pathao offers services in two-wheeler and four-wheeler ride-sharing, Pathao Food, and Pathao Bazaar.
