Two youth killed in motorcycle collision with autorickshaw
The accident occurred at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
KATHMANDU: Two people died when an autorickshaw and a motorcycle collided in Dang.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Thakur Pokharel of the Tulsipur Police Office, Rajesh Bhandari, 30, a resident of Babai Rural Municipality-4, was driving the motorcycle, while Sakar KC, 31, also from the same locality, was a pillion rider.
The accident occurred at 4 p.m. on Thursday in Kumaligadhi, Tulshipur, while the autorickshaw with registration number Ra 1 Ha 4096 was heading towards Tulshipur from Kumaligadhi and the motorcycle with registration number Ra 7 Pa 250 was coming from the opposite direction.
Both victims, critically injured in the accident on Tuesday afternoon, were undergoing treatment in Nepalgunj. Sadly, they succumbed to their injuries at 9 p.m. on the same day.
Rudra Bahadur Thapa, 43, from Shantinagar-7, Khairani, Dang, who was driving the autorickshaw, is also undergoing treatment in Nepalgunj.
