KATHMANDU: The “National Fine Arts Exhibition-2081” has kicked off in Kathmandu, marking a significant milestone in Nepali art.
Organized by the Nepal Fine Arts Academy, it’s the first time a regional exhibition has been elevated to a national level, aiming to protect and promote fine arts.
Selected artworks from the regional event have been showcased, emphasizing the theme “Social Transformation through Fine Arts.”
The organization had released a public notice on Magh 12, 2080, including detailed information about transitioning from regional to national exhibitions, inviting artists from across the nation to participate.
With 482 artists contributing 522 artworks, the exhibition highlights a diverse range of creative expressions from across the nation.
