KATHMANDU: Kantipur Media Group (KMG) Chair Kailash Sirohiya is facing further investigation regarding the citizenship he obtained through descent.

The District Court of Dhanusha has issued arrest warrants against former Chief District Officer Sharad Kumar Bhattarai and former Section Officer Kashiraj Dahal, who was responsible for providing the copy.
The District Police Office of Dhanusha obtained permission to arrest these two individuals to advance the investigation into Sirohiya’s citizenship.
Sirohiya, who was previously arrested on charges related to citizenship forgery, was released from custody yesterday after nine days.
The Dhanusha District Attorney’s Office decided that it was unnecessary to keep him in detention for further investigation.
Consequently, Sirohiya was released on bail, secured by his son, Sambhav Sirohiya.
