KATHMANDU: A demonstration convened at Maitighar demanding ‘Visa for Sandeep Lamichhane.’

Sandeep supporters protested on Wednesday.

Dubbed as the ‘Public Pressure Movement 2081’ aimed at urging the government to grant a visa to cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, the demonstrators rallied for his cause.

During the movement, Sandeep, who introduced Nepal to world cricket, emphasized the necessity of securing a visa for Lamichhane, urging unity against any attempts to bar him from participating in the T20 World Cup.

Slogans reverberated, advocating for Nepal and America’s amicable relationship and mutual respect.
