Suman Karki joins eSewa as Brand Endorser

KATHMANDU: eSewa, Nepal’s first digital payment service provider, has signed a brand endorsement agreement with popular artist Suman Karki.
The formal signing ceremony took place on May 28, 2024, at eSewa’s headquarters in Pulchowk.
The agreement was signed by Aashish Gautam, Chief Business Officer of eSewa, and Suman Karki.
Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Gautam highlighted the significant role Karki will play in promoting eSewa’s future campaigns.
Karki, who gained fame from the popular Nepali reality show Comedy Champion, has rapidly established himself as a prominent figure in Nepal’s comedy scene.
Mr. Gautam expressed confidence that Karki’s involvement will add an entertaining dimension to Esewa’s promotional activities, making them more engaging for customers. The collaboration aims to leverage Karki’s comedic talent to enhance customer engagement and brand awareness.
Established in 2009, eSewa is Nepal’s pioneering digital payment service provider. It operates as a subsidiary of a leading software provider in mobile and internet banking.
eSewa has a widespread reach, operating in all 77 districts of Nepal, with eight branch offices and three contact offices in major cities outside the Kathmandu Valley.
