Tractor accident in Dhankuta: one dead, multiple injured

KATHMANDU: A tractor (registration number Ko 1 Ta 9737) carrying mourners from Sidhuwa to Tribeni Ghat lost control and crashed on Monday afternoon at Pathibhara Danda, Chhatharjorpati Rural Municipality-4, Dhankuta.

The accident resulted in the immediate death of 45-year-old Bir Bahadur Khanal from the same municipality.

Among the injured, 19 were taken to the district hospital for treatment; 12 have been discharged, while 2 were referred to B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, 2 to Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar, and 3 to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar.
