KATHMANDU: The government has unveiled a budget of Rs. 1 trillion 86 billion 30 million for the fiscal year 2081/82.

The Finance Minister presented the allocation for various ministries as follows:

Ministry of Home Affairs: Rs. 199.24 billion
Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Rs. 6.77 billion
Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies: Rs. 9.32 billion
Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security: Rs. 8.10 billion
Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology: Rs. 203.66 billion
Ministry of Health and Population: Rs. 86.24 billion
Ministry of Water Supply and Sanitation: Rs. 26.63 billion
Ministry of Youth and Sports: Rs. 35 billion
Ministry of Communication and Information Technology: Rs. 7.35 billion
Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens: Rs. 16 billion
Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport: Rs. 150.53 billion
Ministry of Forests and Environment: Rs. 15.70 billion
Ministry of Urban Development: Rs. 92.63 billion
Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development: Rs. 57.21 billion
Ministry of Defense: Rs. 59.87 billion
Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation: Rs. 6.82 billion
