NEA employee dies of electrocution

KATHMANDU: One person was electrocuted while making a transformer in Yashodhara Rural Municipality-6 Rangpur of Kapilvastu.

According to the District Police Office, Harishchandra Mishra, a 32-year-old resident of Ganeshpur, Yashodhara-2, and an employee at the Nepal Electricity Authority Taulihawa Distribution Center, has passed away.

On Monday, a storm with rain caused damage to a transformer in Rangpur, resulting in a power outage.

Mishra was electrocuted while repairing the transformer, as reported by the Electricity Authority Taulihawa Distribution Center.
