Identities of 22 Chitwan accident victims revealed (name list)

KATHMANDU: One person has died and 22 others have been injured in a collision involving four vehicles on the Narayangadh-Muglin road in Chitwan.

According to spokesperson DSP Bhesaraj Rijal of the District Police Office, Chitwan, the deceased victim, estimated to be around 16-17 years old, remains unidentified.

Among the 23 injured individuals, the condition of five is reported to be serious, while 13 are in moderate condition, and three have minor injuries.

The truck driver involved in the incident, Subash Karki, aged 26, from Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-5, Sindhupalchok, has been discharged.

He is currently under the control of the Chitwan police.

The injured individuals receiving treatment at the new medical college in Bharatpur are:

4. District  Pyuthan Gaumukhi Rural Municipality-7 residing Suraj Sunar aged 25, condition: moderate (he is understood to be a police officer serving in Lalitpur Metropolitan Police Circle).
5. District Arghakhanchi Sitaganga Municipality-8 residing Pabitra Darlami aged 29, condition: normal.
6. District Pyuthan Jhimrum Municipality-7 residing Puran Giri aged 28, condition: moderate.
7. District Pyuthan Pyuthan Na.pa.8 residing Samir KC aged 20, condition: moderate.
8. District Pyuthan Sarumaharani Rural Municipality-4 residing Tarapati Budhathoki aged 36, condition: moderate.
