Accident in Udayapur: Woman killed, driver at large

KATHMANDU: A road accident occurred in Udayapur in Danuwar Besi, Ward No. 6 of Udaypurgadhi Rural Municipality, on Saturday night.

An unidentified vehicle struck a woman, approximately 35 years old, whose identity remains unknown.

The severely injured woman was found at the scene and rushed to the Udayapur District Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

The vehicle involved in the accident and its driver are currently at large.

The police have intensified their efforts to locate the hit-and-run vehicle and apprehend the driver.

Further investigations into the incident are ongoing.
