PSG defeated Lyon 2-1 in the final match held at Lille’s Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday.
For PSG, French winger Ousmane Dembélé and Spanish midfielder Fabián Ruiz scored in the first half.
In the second half, Lyon’s defender Jake O’Brien scored a consolation goal.
In the 22nd minute of the match, Dembélé scored with a cross from Nuno Mendes, giving PSG the lead.
In the 34th minute, O’Brien attempted to clear the ball with a header.
However, the ball wasn’t cleared properly, and Ruiz scored from the rebound to double PSG’s lead.
Lyon’s goalkeeper Lucas Perri made excellent saves from Bradley Barcola and Warren Zaïre-Emery’s passes in the first minute of the second half.
In the 55th minute, O’Brien scored, bringing the game to a 2-1 scoreline.
In the 64th minute, Lyon’s left-back Nicolás Tagliafico headed a corner ball, but PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma punched it over the bar.
