KATHMANDU: In a match held on Friday night, Nepal emerged victorious against the Houston Hurricanes, winning by 6 runs.

Lahiru Milantha top-scored for the Hurricanes with 33 runs, followed by Ali Sheikh with 23, Smit Patel with 19, and Akhilesh Gomel with 18.

For Nepal, Sompal Kami and Karan KC each took 2 wickets, while Rohit Kumar Paudel, Avinash Bohara, Sagar Dhakal, and Kushal Bhurtel chipped in with a wicket apiece.

Earlier, after losing the toss and being put into bat, Nepal posted a total of 146 for 8 in their 20 overs.

Anil Kumar Sah was the top scorer with 47 runs. Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel contributed 23 runs, Gulshan Jha made 20, and Sandeep Jora scored 21.

Karan KC remained unbeaten on 10 runs.

Nepal is scheduled to play another match against the Hurricanes on Saturday night.
