34-year-old man held for raping a 66-year-old woman

KATHMANDU: On Thursday morning, police arrested 34-year-old Shiv Kumar Kurmi, a resident of Kapilvastu Maharajgunj Municipality-2 Manwaliya, on the charge of raping a 66-year-old woman.

Based on a complaint that Kurmi broke the door of the victim’s house in Dang, Ghorahi and raped her and escaped on Wednesday night, the police station from the area police office, Bhaluwang, arrested him.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
