One held for murdering own uncle
Ghanshyam had been seriously injured in an assault by Dan Raj on May 17 (Jestha 4).
KATHMANDU: The police on Saturday afternoon arrested 31-year-old Dhan Raj Bista, Salyan, Sharada Municipality-6 Barla, on the charge of beating and killing his own uncle, 42-year-old Ghanshyam Bista of the same place.
Dhan Raj has been arrested by the police from the Area Police Office in Sitalpati following the death of Ghanshyam, who had succumbed to injuries on the way home after being treated at Kohalpur Medical College, Banke.
Ghanshyam had been seriously injured in an assault by Dan Raj on May 17 (Jestha 4).
After initial treatment at the district hospital in Salyan, Ghanshyam was transferred to Kohalpur Medical College for further care.
Unfortunately, he passed away en route to his home on Thursday
The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
