KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is scheduled to convene today.
The agenda for today’s meeting includes the discussion and approval of the government’s policies and programs.
The meeting is set to begin at 11 AM, with a focus on debating and potentially approving the proposed policies and programs. On May 14, President Ram Chandra Paudel presented the government’s policy and program.
However, there has been no discussion on it so far.
In today’s session, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will introduce a proposal to initiate the discussion on the government’s annual policies and programs.
Subsequently, amendments proposed by the Members of Parliament will be presented.
According to the anticipated agenda, Prime Minister Prachanda will respond to questions raised by the MPs regarding the policies and programs.
Following this, the Speaker is prepared to move towards the approval of the policies and programs.
