Atalanta clinches first-ever Europa League title

KATHMANDU: Italian club Atalanta has won this season’s Europa League title.

In the final match held last night, Atalanta defeated German club Bayer Leverkusen with a score of 3-0 to claim the Europa League trophy.

Atalanta’s victory was spearheaded by Ademola Lookman, who scored a hat-trick with goals in the 12th, 26th, and 75th minutes.

This marks Atalanta’s first Europa League title.

This defeat ended Bayer Leverkusen’s impressive unbeaten streak of 51 matches this season.
