Couple brutally murdered with a hammer

KATHMANDU: A husband and wife have been murdered in Mahabharata Rural Municipality-4 of Kavrepalanchowk.
In the rural area of Mahabharat Municipality-4 of Kavrepalanchowk a couple were discovered dead within their residence, reportedly victims of homicide.
The chair of Mahabharat Municipality-4, Bishal Moktan, revealed that the bodies of Man Bahadur Bal, aged 60, and his wife Kekaimaya Bal, aged 50, bore injuries consistent with being struck by a five-kilogram hammer.
The couple, who managed a local shop, had two sons and a daughter residing in Kathmandu, as shared by Chair Moktan.
Subsequent to the incident, law enforcement teams from the Devitar police office and the Foxingtar police checkpoint have been dispatched to the site.
Kavre Police have stated that investigations are currently underway.
