KATHMANDU: The Cliff, located in Kushma, witnessed an adrenaline-filled event as 45 trainees of the Armed Police Force’s (APF) ‘Basic Inspector Cliff Diving Training’ conducted a bungee jump on Tuesday.
This training, part of the daring training package of the Training Directorate of the National Armed Police Force Academy, was coordinated by APF Inspector Ramesh Ghimire.
Inspector Ghimire informed that while trainees at official levels have been given adventurous experiences in the past, this particular bungee jump added an extra layer of thrill to their training.
Raju Karki, the chair of the Cliff, expressed his delight at being a part of the APF’s training program.
Under Raju Karki’s vision and leadership, the Cliff, situated above the Kaligandaki River gorge, has become the world’s second-largest bungee jump site, complementing the adventurous spirit of Adventure Hub.
In recent times, the Cliff has evolved into an adventure hub attracting adventure enthusiasts from both domestic and international locales, contributing to the development of adventure tourism.
Previously, various groups under different training programs of the Nepal Police had bungee jumped at the Cliff.
