NA meeting postponed following Congress obstruction
During Monday's National Assembly meeting, Congress members protested and the meeting was adjourned.
KATHMANDU: The National Assembly meeting has also been postponed due to the obstruction of the main opposition party Nepali Congress.
During Monday’s National Assembly meeting, Congress members protested and the meeting was adjourned.
Following the opposition from Congress, the meeting scheduled for Tuesday at 1:15 PM has also been postponed.
In sequence, when National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal tried to continue the meeting despite opposition, he mentioned that proceedings couldn’t progress due to the obstruction and that important achievements couldn’t be attained.
He urged for cooperation to resolve all issues in the National Assembly and appealed to start the meeting by accepting the chairs.
Even after the Chair’s appeal, when Congress continued its protest, the meeting was postponed until Tuesday, as announced by Chairman Dahal.
