KATHMANDU: Amidst ongoing protests from opposition parties, Prime Minister secured a vote of confidence in today’s session of the House of Representatives.

In response, the Nepali Congress has called for a meeting of opposition parties.

Congress MP Ram Hari Khatiwada informed that the opposition meeting has been scheduled to review today’s session and to formulate strategies for upcoming parliamentary sessions.

Following the opposition meeting, a parliamentary party meeting will also be held.

Before the parliamentary session, Congress had already engaged in discussions with opposition parties.

Additionally, Congress had devised strategies in a parliamentary party meeting on how to present their issues in the parliament.

After the meetings of the opposition and the parliamentary party, Congress Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak is set to address a press conference.
