35-year-old man dies in road accident

KATHMANDU: A 35-year-old Mahamad Mukhtar Khan, resident of Biratnagar Municipality City-1, died on Sunday night when a motorcycle numbered Ko 1 Ba 1384 collided with a tipper numbered Na 5 Kha 7079 at Gramthan Rural Municipality-5 Tetaria Chowk.

It is understood that Khan is an employee of Gramthan Rural Municipality.

He was seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment at Arya Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar.

The police have arrested the tipper driver and are conducting further investigations regarding the accident.
