Vote of Confidence postponed due to Congress disruption

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned due to the disruption of the opposition Nepali Congress.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes.

Congress has interrupted the meeting called by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ for the purpose of taking the vote of confidence.

After the Speaker tried to proceed with the meeting, the Congress MP surrounded well. They also raised slogans saying ‘Give justice to co-op victims’, and ‘Form a parliamentary inquiry committee’.
