KATHMANDU: Meteorologists have indicated that Nepal is currently experiencing the partial effects of local winds and westerlies.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, on Monday, there will be partly to generally cloudy conditions in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, and Karnali States, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies.
There is a likelihood of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and wind gusts in some areas of the hilly regions and one or two locations in the Terai plains.

Light snowfall is also expected in some parts of the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
On Tuesday, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy across the country.
