KMC demolishes illegal structures at Gaushala area

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) on Sunday, demolished houses and sheds built illegally by encroaching on road areas at Gaushala area

Using bulldozers, the municipality demolished structures that violated city standards.

These included houses, sheds, and shutters constructed along the roadside in the Gaushala area.

KMC had previously issued a 35-day notice to remove the illegal structures in the Gaushala Chowk area.

The municipality reported that it had also demolished illegal structures near a Bhatkeko Pul last Friday.

KMC continues to demolish structures within its jurisdiction that do not comply with established standards.
