Tractor accident in Okhaldhunga: 21-year old boy dies, 12 injured

KATHMANDU: An accident occurred on Friday morning on the road leading to the hydropower damside from tractor number Ko 2 Ta 8626, belonging to the Ragani Holpus area of Khijidemba municipality-1, Okhaldhunga.
In the accident, Aayush Sunuwar, a 21-year-old resident of Chandeshwari Municipality-3 of the same district, lost his life.
Furthermore, 12 passengers injured in the accident were sent for further treatment to Kathmandu via Ramechhap Health Post situated in the local area.
The tractor driver has been brought under police control.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, with the departmental police providing insights into the cause and issuing directives accordingly.
This incident took place on Friday morning when the tractor was heading towards the hydropower damside.
