CPN-UML Chair Oli condemns Congress disrespectful conduct in Parliament (video)

KATHMANDU: KP Oli, Chair of the CPN-UML party, strongly criticized the Nepali Congress (NC) for their disrespectful behaviour during Thursday’s session of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Addressing the media at the Federal Parliament premises in New Baneshwor on Friday, Oli underscored that Parliament should not be a battleground.

He expressed disappointment with the Nepali Congress’s treatment of journalists and recounted instances where NC lawmakers invaded the ruling party’s space, using derogatory language and showing disregard.

Oli speculated that their frustration might stem from their perception of being ousted from power.
